I missed writing in this journal. It has been six month since I'd last written here. Lot's of cool and sad things have happened, and I kept drawing.
I've already got 2000 hits at my userpage! Yay! Thanks a lot!

Ok, but I didn't come here only to blabber about pointless things.
Have you ever noticed how the computer show all the imperceptible mistakes that your scanned art has? Gee, this happens with me all the time!
Since I make most traditional artworks, I'm always finishing things and scanning them to put here. And when I look my drawing at the image editor< I find lots of mistakes, marks and dirt that I'd never noticed looking only at the paper. Some are really minor mistakes that don't need to be counted, others are ugly things...
But today a funny thing happened.
I thought I'd never make this mistake.
If it wasn't for my scanner, I'd never noticed it! So, this will be the first time in history that I'll thank my scanner for something really good that he did! LOL
I have finished "Maddie" [link] drawing five days ago. I liked this drawing very much! She looks perfect when talking about proportion and I loved her face...
I could scan it only today to proudly show it here, at dA.
And then, while editing it for posting, I noticed! Oh, what a sin!
I had drewn two left feet! TWO! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Now I understand how the great mangaka from Saint Seiya had also committed this mistake. I've always made fun of him because of it, but now, I prefer to be neutral on this matter! xD
It had been FIVE days and I didn't see the TERRIBLE mistake! I only noticed it because I've scanned! xD
So... I proved my theory that all errors are revealed after scanning a picture. That's bad, but also helpful sometimes.
Thanks to this, I corrected Madoka's foot and re-scanned. The version you see here in dA is the corrected one...
Too bad I didn't keep the wrong version just to show you the size of my dumbness! xDDDD
So, next time you scan something, pay attention to the image and review it or maybe you'll have some surprise! xDDDD
